Mega Man Legacy Collection Review | WGTC

WGTC: While your experience may differ, the amount of remasters and collections we have seen in this generation of consoles has always been a point of contention and subject of conversation, at least in my group of friends and peers. I myself go back and forth on this topic all the time. For one, I would like to see companies allocating more resources towards newer games, rather than simply rehashing older titles, many of which I have in my personal collection. On the other hand, a few of these remasters and re-releases are notable for making it much easier to actually get your hands on certain games (Grim Fandango Remastered comes to mind).

Composer Peter McConnell's Broken Age: On Grim Fandango, Future and Past

Added: 26.08.2015 9:18 | 28 views | 0 comments

Sumthing writes: Celebrating the album releases of Broken Age, and the recent re-release of the score for Grim Fandango are a very BIG deal. So much so, that back in May, I went in search of their composer: industry legend Peter McConnell. On a very bright and HOT day in June, Peter and I discussed the hidden blessings of crowd-funding, the echoes of space, the villain theme, Lucas Arts, and the beginnings of his work on Grim Fandango.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition Review Scratch One Grub | The Jimquisition

Added: 26.08.2015 5:18 | 7 views | 0 comments

Jim Sterling - "Gears of War Ultimate Edition is a blast to play, even if youre like me and only really intend to get into the story campaign. The multiplayer is still damn robust, beautifully put together, and will be a thrill ride for those who love the Gnasher, but I cant say I havent greatly enjoyed my time with the overall package, because the thing I most cared about has been remastered very well indeed. This goes in the pile of worthwhile rereleases that have been churned out lately, and is no doubt going to adequately tide over Gearheads until the next sequel makes its mark."
