New To VR: Be a Mouse, Not a Man in House Mouse

Added: 04.06.2015 14:16 | 3 views | 0 comments

VRFocus - There have been, down the years many famous mice, most of them animated, for obvious reasons. Be it Walt Disneys Mickey, Don Bluths Fievel, Warner Bross Speedy Gonzales or Hanna and Barberas Jerry. Have you ever considered though how (discounting the adult-sized Mickey) they would see the world? Scurrying around and looking at things from an entirely new angle.

15 big predictions for Nintendo's E3 2015 press conference

GR: So weve covered what we expect from Sony and Microsoft at E3 2015, so lets get on to Nintendo now, shall we? What do we think were going to see at Nintys E3 Direct broadcast? Hmm. You see, its always tricky with the House of Plumber. First up, Nintendos release schedule and the Wii Us trajectory are a bit non-traditional, making the usual predictive observation methods a little redundant. Secondly, who ever knows what Nintendo is going to do? For all its creative genius, the company often seems to make it decisions by throwing darts at a mood board.

Destiny's Solo Problem, And How To Solve It

GI As I noted in my write-up about House of Wolves, now is the best time for lapsed or new players to get into Destiny. The Prison of Elders arena mode and end-game PvP Trials of Osiris event round out an already compelling package of activities. At the same time, the endgame experience is increasingly group-centric. Lone wolf guardians (or just players who hop on at odd hours) are at a severe disadvantage, both in activities they can enjoy, and in the rewards they can reap. However, Bungie already has the tools and mechanics in place to solve the problem, and in the process the developer could enrich the anemic storytelling that has plagued the title since launch. The answer lies in further embracing the potential of the bounty system.

If Bungie Built 'Destiny' Around Groups, They Need To Help Players Find Them

Added: 03.06.2015 4:16 | 8 views | 0 comments

Forbes: One Strike. Two Raids. Three Arena Challenges. PvP Endgame. These are seven different Destiny activities that require premade teams of three to six players, without the help of matchmaking within the game itself. Given that four of these seven were introduced in the new DLC alone (House of Wolves), some players are finally getting fed up with Bungie insisting on group activities, yet failing to provide the tools in which to assemble these groups in the game.
