"Before there were numerous iterations of Blazblue there were countless upgraded releases of the Guilty Gear games. However after the Blazblue series rose to prominence, gamers have had to wait nearly seven years for another proper fighting game in the Guilty Gear series and now that Aksys Games and Arc System Works have brought Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- to the PlayStation 4, is it everything fans have been waiting for?"

When gamers think of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider, the majority of people will reminisce about the classic PS1 titles or look back on the 2013 reboot. However back in 2010 Square Enix attempted to slightly shift this perception with the release of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, a co-operative action game with a fixed isometric camera. Now four years later, developers Crystal Dynamics are back with a sequel called Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, which brings the co-operative experience and isometric camera to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

VRFocus - While there were plenty of announcements to be made at this months PlayStation Experience fan event in Las Vegas, Nevada, few related to the Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4. However one big announcement that Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) VP of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes did make was that Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes had been ported from PC, where it supports the Oculus Rift PC HMD, to PlayStation 4 with Project Morpheus integration. According to Boyes, that port only took a couple of days to carry out.

| Why the Wii U is a Good Only-Console to Have
Added: 13.12.2014 17:11 | 7 views | 0 comments
When gamers discuss which console to get, I often questioned why not get both or all of them? Technically that would be in an ideal situation that you have the money to afford that. In some peoples case like mine, you can only really afford one home console. While the PS4 and Xbox One are great, I think its important to focus on the underdog. The Wii U is generally regarded as the other home console, but I think its the best one in many respects. It definitely does not have the best graphics, RAM, or pretty much every spec you can compare with the other new current gen systems. It is also lacking in third party support. It exists, but Nintendo is practically only getting it by helping develop the games. However even situations like that only helps the gamer because we get awesome titles like The Wonderful 101.

Theres a lot of worrying implications here, both involving the sponsorship and the decision making behind it. However the most striking thing about it, to many people at least, is the incredibly poor timing of the announcement.
For the last few months literally dozens of mainstream commentators, many without any real background in gaming, have taken what appears to be genuine glee in raking the hobby and its proponents over the coals over the fallout from #Gamergate. Thanks to the vitriol of a committed minority of gamers the entire gaming lifestyle has been labelled misogynistic, sexist, and generally unfriendly towards the fairer sex.
