Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness Review | GIZORAMA
Added: 15.10.2013 18:18 | 6 views | 0 comments
GIZORAMA - Disgaea is a franchise that holds a special place in the hearts of many. For 10 years developer Nippon Ichi Software has been contributing to the hardcore tactics JRPG market and, for the most part, with resounding success. However when Disgaea first graced the shelves back in 2003 (2004 in Europe) it brought with it a cast of characters that many-a-fan would miss dearly over the coming years. The tale of the Demon Overlords son Laharl and his merry band of misfits deservedly became a shining example of the series best narrative work. Despite some great work in the many spin-offs, remakes and sequels, as the years past fans began to wonder if Laharl and his friends would ever return for another adventure. However fear not as Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is upon us and its more than just a 10 year anniversary celebration. The old trio have finally returned and they have brought with them arguably the best Disgaea game so far.

Kingdom Hearts finally gets the HD remaster fans have been wanting since the craze started, but does it preserve the franchises critical acclaim? Read our review below.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is an HD compilation game containing HD gameplay and cinematics of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hreats Re: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. It is available exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
THE GOOD: Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix gives fans exactly what theyve been asking for, an HD retelling of the original game, while also adding an HD remake of Re: Chain of Memories, and a near 3 hour cinematic of 358/2 Days. However its not the original version of Kingdom Hearts which is included, but instead the once Japanese exclusive Final Mix version, which was believed to never see the light of day outside of its original home. The Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts includes tougher enemies, extra items (including an exclusive...

| The Gaming Review- Grand Theft Auto V (PS3) Review

Iain writes:- I could go on and on about everything there in to do in GTA V, and could tell you stories about some of the things Ive got up to around the enormous map that makes up your playground. But as much of the magic here is in the discovery Im going to wind the review down and leave you to explore for yourself. The game wont be for everyone, and I stand by my opinion that the 18 rating should be very seriously considered by parents eager to stop the nagging from their younger kids, but unless theres a big reason why youre staying away from GTA you should be seeking out your local bandwagon and jumping straight on. Want some fun? Go fetch a copy. However you look at it, Grand Theft Auto V is definitely one of the all time greats.

PopBucket writes: When this game landed on my lap I assumed that it would be a Mario Kart pretender. After all Turbo: Super Stunt Squad (TSSS) is a tie-in to the new DreamWorks CGI family film which sees the hero snail (Turbo) aim to become the fastest snail and greatest racer in the world. However upon booting up the game I realised its much more like a Tony Hawk skateboarding games. Sadly, not a very good one.

| Review: ST.R.I.K.E.3 Gaming Keyboard [XLC Gaming Network]

XLC Gaming Network writes:- Mad Catz has certainly grown as a company over its many years in existence, bringing us a wealth of top quality third party peripherals. There products have always had the elitist gamer in mind bringing us some of the best arcade fightsticks, headphones, mice and keyboards. Looking at the S.T.R.I.K.E range of their keyboards we see that to get the best of the best you need to part with some serious cash. However over the last couple of years Mad Catz has been bringing some top of the range budget gaming devices to help give you a competitive edge in the world of pro gamers. One of these entry level affordable gaming products is the S.T.R.I.K.E.3 Gaming Keyboard for PC. If you are on a budget but want to go against the Pros then this is certainly not just one of the best keyboards out there but also the best value for money.

We all learn things from others. From the day we're born until the day we die, we pick up knowledge every step of the way. The same can be said for the journey experienced in an MMO game. We ask where to locate certain enemies, what items are best used for our class, where to farm efficiently, etc. However you rarely hear of someone asking "How do I be a tank?". I began my journey through Eorzea with a friend that had literally zero experience in the MMO world. He didn't understand basic terms such as aggro and class abbreviations and he had no knowledge of how the typical MMO plays out.

Perplexingly high price aside (odd considering Sony locally manufactures PS3 first party titles like this)is Beyond Two Souls worth playing? Yes, if you're a sucker for a great story and have no qualms about indulging in QTEs (that are suprisingly forgiving and dare I say, almost fun). However if your idea of gaming is defined by the freedom and exploration that we're treated to nowadays then you might this a tad threadbare.
