Diablo III Console Review | Rely on Horror

Added: 13.09.2013 13:18 | 8 views | 0 comments

Rely on Horror writes: "Diablo 3 is one of the most talked about games in recent times for unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. It suffered from a terribly unstable launch, giving birth to the now infamous Error 37 meme. The auction house took players away from exploring dungeons to scrolling through online listings. There was a whole myriad of problems, some of which like the DRM cant be fixed on the PC side of things now. However the console port of the game takes heavy strides to try and remedy most of these issues, and for the most part it succeeds."

Added: 13.09.2013 9:18 | 7 views | 0 comments

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: "A little under a year ago Team Ninja brought us the next numbered Dead or Alive title in the form of Dead or Alive 5. With numerous graphical improvements, a few new characters and refined gameplay it reminded us just how great the series was. Since then they have released numerous costumes as DLC and also released a Vita version with a few touch screen options and a handful of gameplay improvements. Now Tecmo Koei has released Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, looking to improve upon what was already a great game with a number of refinements and additions. However is all of this worth a second purchase?"

Chaos Code Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 11.09.2013 13:19 | 5 views | 0 comments

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: "Every year there are multiple fighting games released that are never brought overseas in any form. If the game doesnt have a number behind it, chances are the title wont be making its way to English shores unless people choose to import it. However in recent years a few different fighting games have slowly been released in English and now an anime styled fighting game called Chaos Code from little known developer FK Digital has been released onto the PSN. Does Chaos Code give us a taste of something different or should it have remained in the dark?"

KickBeat Review (TheSixthAxis)

Back in my University days, the music rhythm game was king. Many a gaming (and drinking) session consisted of me and some friends strumming plastic guitars, trying to beat each others scores. They provided many laughs and some great competition, but now the rhythm game genre has pretty much faded away. However Zen Studios has attempted to revive the genre with a twist.

Presspauseradio.com at PAX Prime 2013: Hopping Into Titanfall

"Hearing all of the critical acclaim and buzz surrounding Titanfall, I was excited to try out the new first person shooter from Respawn Entertainment. However I had several reservations, due to the fact that anytime I have looked forward to a new shooter, I jump into the multiplayer and realize that I am terrible at shooters. Seeing as how the developers of Titanfall were originally from the same team that created the Modern Warfare series of games, I assumed I would play the multiplayer, perform horribly and never play the game again. After my time with the game, however I can say that Titanfall is my most anticipated release for the next generation of systems."

Call of Duty: Ghosts tweaks sniper rifles and alters quick-scoping

Added: 09.09.2013 12:38 | 6 views | 0 comments

Infinity Ward executive producer explains some of the changes to sniper rifles in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin has explained how the developer is working to change sniper rifles in this year's , adding that the series' traditional "quick-scoping" techniques have been affected.

Rubin says that the new Marksman class in Ghosts has allowed the developer to focus on high-calibre weaponry.

"The changes we#133;ve made," , "like dual render scopes and increased damage really make snipers a great competitive class to use. We#133;ve also done a lot with map design (sight lines and cover) to ensure that all classes are viably effective."

"Both short range and long range classes will be effective on the same maps," he added.

"However in re-envisioning sniper rifles some aspects, such as sway timing, have changed the way sniper rifles function and so traditional 'quick-scoping' has been affected. Is it gone completely? Maybe. It certainly won#133;t be viable in the way it previously was."

"Can#133;t wait for you snipers out there to get your hands on these new sniper rifles and try them out for yourselves," concluded Rubin.

Infinity Ward previously confirmed that the Xbox One and PC versions of Call of Duty: Ghosts

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released in November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
