| Nintendo no longer a big player in the game
Added: 12.06.2013 13:17 | 12 views | 0 comments
E3 has reached dizzying heights this year, with platform holders and third-party publishers finally able to fully expose their plans for the next-gen future. The first few days have delivered some incredible moments, none more so than the scenes at Sony's press conference, where the audience stood to applaud the company's PlayStation 4 policies for a full five minutes. However not everyone has enjoyed a successful E3, as it looks like Nintendo's decision to skip a full-blown conference in favour of its Nintendo Direct broadcast could come back to haunt them.

| PushStartPlay: Ubisoft Conference - What Happened And What We Thought
Added: 12.06.2013 8:17 | 14 views | 0 comments
Haris for PushStartPlay writes: The Ubisoft conference began with a performance by non other then the famous, Alice in Chains, who were promoting the next outing in the Rocksmith series, the 2014 edition. I actually got to talk about the E3, live with some of my friends on skype to discuss about it. We had some great discussions. Firstly, we moved on to the Splinter Cell: Black List trailer where multiple characters important to the game were revealed. However the best thing about this conference was how they set it up, using 3d projectors that made use of the entire conference hall. You could see characters and mission names on the side walls, similar to how they were conveyed in Splinter Cell: Conviction. The sonar effect was also amazing, originating from the main screen and spreading out through the other screens and out towards the wall. That was beautiful.

| Kuma Kreations Ent. Latest Preview on Dying LightParkour Meets Zombies?
Added: 10.06.2013 15:19 | 8 views | 0 comments
Kuma Wrote: I thought I shed some of my feelings towards another Zombie title, but this time coming from Techland and Warner Bros. Entertainment. In all honesty I faced palmed when I saw another zombie game surface because it is getting so old even the zombies are starting to get bored with the human food supply. However this might be an interesting take on the genre if they do what I think they are going to do. Please enjoy the read.

| State of Decay Review [Capsule Computers]

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:
"Over the last few years zombies have invaded almost every aspect of entertainment. Many movies are being filmed with zombies at the center; books have long been using zombies to their benefit and one of the most popular television shows features zombies. In video games zombies have also been running rampant where a zombie game of some sort is being released every couple of months. However while zombies may be running rampant, not every zombie is the same and Undead Labs State of Decay is here to prove that fact. Will the game be successful in this endeavor?"

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:
"Everyone has things that they would like to forget and everyone has cherished memories that they want to hold onto forever. However as we age those memories may fade and important events from long ago can be remembered in only the vaguest detail. However what if there was a way to remember everything that you want to but forget everything terrible? Well Dontnod and Capcoms Remember Me takes place in a world where citizens can do just that. However is Remember Me worth your time?"

| Was the Madden 25 Cover Vote rigged?

There might be a saying that goes if your thinking it others out there may feel the same way, well
Watching the Madden 25 Run Free trailer followed by browsing the Youtube comments actually contributing my own comments; suggesting to EA Sports to update RG3s (QB of the Washington Redskins) hair, it looks like the same exact model from last years version, Madden 13. And also suggesting to introduce the Nike gloves that was implemented in the NFL a year ago. It seems painfully obvious there is a absence of mirroring the new look NFL in that department, it too looks like the same exact gloves from last year.
However it was not my comments, but someone elses comments that fueled this article; bringing up something interesting regarding the validity of the Madden 25 Cover Vote winner.

| GamerZines | The Starship Damrey Review: 'The Little Robot That Could'
Added: 03.06.2013 10:17 | 10 views | 0 comments
GamerZines writes:
In years past, the last place youd look to discover risky game design was a Nintendo platform. In their own games for sure theyve dabbled occasionally, but when it came to third parties the Japanese console maker rarely if ever extended their arms out openly to the oddball potential of digital-only bite-sized releases. However with the 3DS that trend is slowly beginning to change.
The Starship Damrey is the perhaps the greatest example of that recent mentality shift; a game which would never sit pride and place on retail shelves, but its different enough to easily excuse its tiny £7.19 asking price via Nintendos eShop.
