God of War Ascension | SG Gaming Info

Added: 13.05.2013 17:18 | 28 views | 0 comments

God of War Ascension has a good storyline with a decent mix of combat and puzzle solving. However the combat does seem to drag on for far too long with enemies being able to soak up a lot of damage. The multiplayer is decent but it isnt overly enjoyable.

KKEnts First Impression of FUSE Demo on PlayStation 3

Added: 11.05.2013 9:17 | 8 views | 0 comments

Kuma Wrote: There were a lot of new games released lately, but one of them is a demo called FUSE from Insomniac Games. This title has been talked about for a few years and now you can try out this demo with full four player co-op. I took on the role of Jacob Kimble who has a unique crossbow that sets enemies on fire, but I was too busy dealing damage to the opposition. However I will let the video speak for itself, please enjoy.

The Realm Bonus Features Trailer (HD)

Added: 10.05.2013 15:07 | 6 views | 0 comments

A video that shows two of the bonus features in the game. First off is the collection system, where you need to collect scattered butterflies in the environment in order to unlock hidden bonus content. However you need to be careful as some butterflies are hidden and picking on bad actions could destroy them. Second is Sarina's flute. At some point in the game, deep in the forest, Sarina and Toru come across a hidden capsule, in it is a mysterious instrument. Sarina discovers on playing the flute that it unleashes mystical powers. The player must learn a series of melodies to trigger these powers. However using these powers comes at a price. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/995134339/the-realm-game

Army Of Two: Devils Cartel And Why Gaming Needs Dumb Games

Added: 07.05.2013 10:19 | 7 views | 0 comments

Theres been a real push this generation to improve game stories. Thats not to say that good stories are unique to recent games, the likes of Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy titles have made attempts to tell grand stories in the past, but it seems like the story has been increasingly pushed to the front of many games. From huge titles like Mass Effect and the recent Tomb Raider, to the smaller ones like Thomas Was Alone, the story has been central to success. As someone who loves a good story I can only hope for more of them. However this push has, in my opinion, had a bit of an adverse affect on some titles which have forgettable or shallow plots, receiving less favourable reactions than they would have in the past. I recently played through Army Of Two: The Devils Cartel, a game that wasnt met with much fanfare and wont any win awards for its story telling, but offered something that seems to be a bit of on a decline silly, over the top fun.

Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 06.05.2013 14:19 | 15 views | 0 comments

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: "When Dragons Dogma was first released a little under a year ago, it was a great experience that had a few issues but overall offered something fresh that could eat hours and hours of your time as you traveled the continent slaying all manner of beasts in extravagant and enjoyable fashion. Now Capcom has released something of an expansion to the original game called Dark Arisen. It is worth noting that Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen contains the entirety of the original Dragons Dogma game and my review for that original section of the game can be found here. However what does the Dark Arisen expansion hold for those who already know the secrets of the world?"
