Jae Lee writes: Ive had a bit of love/hate relationship with the developers at Compile Heart. Ok, its more of a hate relationship if Im being honest, since Ive never really liked any of their games very much. Still, in a time where they weren't localizing too many JRPGs, their titles constantly found their way to the states and on that front, I felt glad. However, titles like Hyperdimension Neptunia and Mugen Souls left much to be desired to say the least, and while their more recent titles have jumped in overall quality, I still felt they had a long way to go before I could consider them in the same breath with the likes of Gust, Namco Tales Studio and NIS (they published, not developed).

Fairy Fencer F - PS3 Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 17.09.2014 11:13 | 26 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: The first thing that stood out to me was how much this title reminded me of the Hyperdimension series, a notion that was quickly reinforced once I got into walking around dungeons and utilizing the very similar turn-based combat system. This is not a bad thing, as I enjoyed Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory quite a bit. The world and characters are certainly different, with less of the tongue-in-cheek humor Hyperdimension is known for, but the end result is that Fairy Fencer F is a fun JRPG that should appeal to fans of its better-known cousin.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Review - Canadian Gamer

Added: 16.09.2014 2:12 | 19 views | 0 comments

Chris Conway of CanadianGamer writes : Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a re-release of an old PS3 game that not many people have played. I myself have been tempted to pick it up on a number of occasions, but couldnt bring myself to take the risk, so I cant tell you what the original was like. I did find this version to be a fun, quirky game. Filled with both subtle and overt references to other gaming franchises, its a fun trip down memory lane while still being a good hame in its own right.
