Microsoft Announces the August Beta for Gigantic at E3 2015

Gigantic, published by Microsoft and developed by Motiga, will open its beta to Xbox One and Steam users on August 2015. The game's brief highlight video showcased much combat classes and characters. These include Imani the ranged warrior, the heavy known as The Margrave, Voden the archer, and the staff-wielding Charnok. This free-to-play game gets its name from the giant guardians who serve as companions to the squad. Not dissimilar from the vibrant and colorful art direction of other arena shooters like Overwatch and Battleborn, Gigantic looks to have the brightest visuals out of this upcoming wave of so-called Hero Shooters. Gigantic will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10.

| Nintendo Has A Huge Public Image Problem

HSR's Derek Sanders writes:
'I have been a long time Nintendo fan. Ive loved their games and their consoles since I was about five years old. But lately, Ive found myself saying something that a lot of people have been saying about you. To sum up my and everyones thoughts about your recent decisions, I say this.
Nintendo, I love you, BUT YOU CAN BE A REAL PAIN IN THE BUTT SOMETIMES!
The weekend of May 29th was a good example of my and other peoples feelings towards you. The new game Splatoon released for the Wii U along with the recent wave of Amiibo figures. While the game was a huge success, the Amiibos sold out a lot faster than anyone wanted. If you wanted anyone besides Pac-Man, the general sentiment was Good luck. Youre gonna need it. We saw both how good you can be with making games and how bad you can be with anything else.
While financially, you have a lot of wiggle room, a lot of your recent business decisions have rubbed people the wrong way.'

| Can We Fix the "Gamer" Image that General Society Sees?
Added: 13.06.2015 11:19 | 4 views | 0 comments
It isn't easy being a gamer because the general society in both the real world AND the internet look down upon gamers. Can we change the stigma set forth by the "gamers" that have ruined the gaming image for the rest of us? Perhaps we can start by doing acts of #GamerKindness!
Enjoy!
