Destiny First Impressions The Awoken (PS4)

Added: 09.09.2014 5:12 | 11 views | 0 comments

This is not a review. At this point I have played 11 hours of Destiny, from the moment the servers opened up, until my power sadly went out and I was forced to stop playing. In those 11 hours, I have brought my Titan to level 13, played a number of matches in the Crucible, made it to Venus in the story, and even wielded a badass sword on the moon. Yeah, you heard that right, there is a mission that involves swordplay in Destiny, and I want more of it. My review will be written later in the week when I have gotten more time with the endgame content. These are just my initial impressions after my first day with the game.- PSLS

Hands-on Impressions of World of Warships From PAX Prime 2014 | Entertainment Buddha

Added: 09.09.2014 1:14 | 7 views | 0 comments

EB's Matt Heywood writes, "World of Warships is being developed by the Moscow Wargaming studio, and its focus, like the Tanks games, is on historical accuracy. This is immediately clear once you see one of the games massive battleships anchored in highly detailed water that reacts masterfully to the ships guns, engines, and cannons. The level of detail in the ships is beyond impressive, and according to the developers on hand, each model took around eight months to build. We were shown a Nagato battleship from Japans fleet, and it boasted five hundred individual objects that had to be crafted to maintain World of Warships dedication to history and accuracy. Every gun turret, cannon, and living quarter has been painstakingly recreated in digital form to give the game a level of realism that Wargaming fans have come to expect, so the eight month build time is no joke and evidence of the teams dedication to making World of Warships an authentic WWII-era naval action strategy title."

Assassins Creed Rogue Will Not Disappoint: Hands-On Impressions | The Koalition

Added: 08.09.2014 23:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

The Koalition's Fergus Mills writes: "Before going into PAX, I knew that Assassins Creed: Unity would be a solid title. All the previously released footage looked great and who doesnt love co-op? Assassins Creed: Rogue on the other hand is still trying to win the hearts and minds of the people. The decision to release two AC games this year and the lack of attention Ubisoft gave Rogue during E3 2014 had a lot of people questioning the quality of the game. Now that I had the opportunity to check out Rogue for myself, I can say that it will be a worthy addition to the Assassins Creed franchise."

Hands-on Impressions of Stealth Inc 2 From PAX Prime 2014 | Entertainment Buddha

Added: 08.09.2014 19:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

EB's Matt Heywood writes, "While at PAX Prime I had the chance to meet with two representatives from Curve to check out Stealth Inc 2 in playable form on the Wii U, and after my time with it I can say that Wii U owners have a game to look forward to this fall that the other platforms will not get. Based on the title it should be clear that this game is centered on stealth gameplay, and the goggles that the clones wear reflect this (red means youre visible, green means your hidden) in a visual manner, but Curve has added plenty of new features in Stealth Inc 2 to make it stand out from the original. Gamers will now have a fusion of gameplay tactics from other popular franchises like Castlevania, Metroid, and even Zelda to experience, making Stealth Inc 2 a worthy follow up to the original."
