Whether its the re-emergence of Space Games, the amazing open worlds, or the unique visions of Indie developers, there has never been a better time to be a gamer. However, for every glittering metropolis there is always a seedy underbelly and sometimes one wrong turn can leave you in the bad part of town. Here are three games that mugged me and left me bleeding in the backstreets of gaming culture.

Since its release on Steam Early Access back in December 2014 indie developer Refract has made it clear that it intends to add support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) to its racing title, Distance. That support was on display PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington last month as part of the Indie Megabooth line-up and VRFocus will have coverage on it soon but Refract has now added it as an experimental update for Distances pre-release version.
