NOT A HERO is the brainchild of developer Roll7, and it represents British Indie entertainment at its best. Published by one of indies most famous publishers, Devolver Digital, NOT A HERO makes use of the revered "ISO-Slant" engine, which is boasted on the Steam page and described as the next coming of Christ, but for those unaware, it represents 90% of the dry, bland British humour you'll find throughout the game. It's a bizarre cross between Hotline Miami and a sidescroller, though the platforming is limited due to a lack of a jump function. That's not to say you don't get thrown/exploded around the place though, plenty of that kind of platforming happens. It's an 8bit stylised shooter, offering fast paced shooting and the most ridiculous bonus objectives in a game you've ever seen.
