Destructoid- Review: Injustice: Gods Among Us (iOS)

Added: 21.04.2013 11:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

DToid:As mindless as it is, Injustice iOS is a very easy way to get reacquainted with your favorite DC Comics characters. It would have been a much better experience as a straight $4.99 download, with the ability to unlock every character in the game through straight progress, but despite that wasted opportunity, you really can't go wrong with at least trying out this free game.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review | Crunchyroll

Added: 21.04.2013 7:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Crunchyroll: "Injustice: Gods Among Us gives a lot of bang for your buck, with a solid fighter that suffers from a handful of competitive and online hiccups. Plenty of unlockables and a thorough array of single-player options will keep the game spinning in your systems, and a smart front end makes training fun. Since Injustice is using NetherRealm's HotFix system, expect steady updates for the next while as it's made into a tighter, more competitive experience. Injustice is so far the best fighting game experience of the year--it's not the fighting game we asked for, but it's the fighting game we deserve."

FTG Writes: In this burgeoning period of fighting games, where simplicity is king and the power of community is ever so clear, its hard to break into the fighting game scene on normal AAA merits. After the smash-hit success of the 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot, NetherRealm Studios is treading familiar territory in the DC universe. We saw the crossover of Mortal Kombat and the DC universe, and the results were less than stellar. However, times have changed in this 2D fighter revolution, with Injustice: Gods Among Us finally bringing us the DC fighting game weve always wanted. Despite some far-flung plot decisions and a few balancing issues, Injustice scratches that super hero itch, while catering to fighting game fans

NetherRealm Studios new fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, is already getting rave reviews from gaming sites. Its the second time the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment-owned studio, NetherRealm, has worked with some of the most famous DC Comics super heroes like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Arrow and The Flash in a video game. MK vs DC Universe was a hit years ago, but this new game rids the Mortal Kombat characters and delves into the Injustice comic book mythology that allows some of the most iconic super heroes to turn on each other in combat. Its also worth noting that both of these games run on Epic Games Unreal Engine 3 technology.

After successfully rebooting Mortal Kombat in 2011, Ed Boon and his team at Netherrealm Studios return with Injustice: Gods Among Us, which sees DC comics heroes and villains duke it out. You can tell that this is a fighter from the MK team, but Injustice is more than a simple wardrobe change - it is a superb fighting game, and one of the best titles of the year so far.
