Mario and Luigi. Banjo and Kazooie. Sonic and Tails. Jak and Daxter. There have been some epic bromances in gaming over the years. Ratchet and Clank sits pretty high up on this same list for PlayStation owners and since 2002, the beloved series has clocked up nearly a dozen titles. This latest instalment, Nexus, proves that developers Insomniac arent done with the legendary duo yet either. There are even rumours of a feature-length animated movie set for release in 2015, which could expand the franchise out even further.

"One of the more impressive and unique features of the game is The Netherverse, which can only be accessed with Clank through Rifts in the walls. The Netherverse transforms the game into a beautiful 2D side scroller. In these levels, Clank solves puzzles and manipulates gravity to lead Nethers, the indigenous creatures of the planet, back to the rifts to seal them shut. This section of the demo was easily my favorite and I thought The Netherverse was visually pretty stunning."
