Following the announcement of its Xbox One exclusive, Sunset Overdrive, Insomniac has revealed it wont be ditching Sony any time soon. We are still working with Sony, Insomniacs Ted Price told IGNs Greg Miller in a post-press conference live stream when the developer was asked if Sunset Overdrive marked the end of Insomniac on PlayStation consoles. Insomniac announced in 2011 that it would no longer be developing PlayStation exclusive games with the debut of Overstrike which eventually became Fuse. Fuse launched in May 2013 and marked the studios first venture onto the multiplatform stage with a release on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Insomniac Games has announced its first exclusive for the Xbox One, Sunset Overdrive. Ted Price called the game an "open-world shooter," but it looks to be quite a bit more than that. From the short demonstration they showed, Sunset Overdrive seems to have some elements of parkour and four-player co-op as well.

DHGF: In Fuse, you shoot things. Whats that? That description a little lacking for you? Try playing the game! Fuse is a bland, uninspired blob of a game. While it controls well, looks fine, sounds solid, and offers four player online action, it does so with vanilla characters, lazy level design, and downright boring action. Its lazy is what it is. I never thought Id say that of an Insomniac game. These are the guys who came up with the gun that turned people into sheep and the disco ball that could be used to make even the biggest boss get down and boogie. None of that charm and inventiveness made it into Fuse. This is just another overpriced, generic shooter that no one will remember in a year. That just makes me sad.
