Added: 28.04.2015 10:17 | 5 views | 0 comments

Zack Keosaian writes: "I bet you would have never guessed - though if you've had the chance to download the alpha demo then chances are you're accustomed to the sense of humor in this particular game world - but Happy Hell is easily one of the most imaginative platformers currently on the indie scene. After a successful Kickstarter raising $14,161 over a goal of $13,666, the full product is well under way to completion. Even though the campaign is over, I'm taking a look at what made Happy Hell appealing enough to win over its audience. Hopefully you've gathered the ingredients below; and with these divine elements of the powers in and around us, we dive in to a world of deception, peril, and pure evil!"

Added: 28.04.2015 4:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

Marcus Estrada writes: "It's always a joy when a new Kickstarter campaign manages to hook me right off the bat. When clicking on Elsinore and seeing the basic description, I couldn't help but keep reading: "Elsinore is a time-looping narrative adventure game set in the world of Shakespeare's Hamlet." In this game, you play as Ophelia in Hamlet, and find yourself stuck in a recurring loop spanning four days. At the end of the four days, everyone in Elsinore Castle ends up dead. You know this - but how can you prevent it? Is it even possible to do so?"

Its been a long road for Double Fines Broken Age. Conceptually launched as Double Fine Adventure, the game took to crowdfunding website, Kickstarter back in February 2012 and sought $400,000. After making over $3,000,000 and with an original planned release date of October 2012, the game began to see numerous delays. In early 2013, Double Fine head and Broken Age creative director, Tim Schafer came out and stated that the game would take at least another year to complete. Fast forward to early 2014 and Double Fine released Act I of the game (in part, to raise more money to fund Act II). Finally, three years after its original Kickstarter, were getting the completed version of Broken Age.

Added: 25.04.2015 19:17 | 6 views | 0 comments

VVV: "Formula Fusion has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to secure development funding , with a modest goal of just £35,000. Indeed, it's a surprisingly low target, which R8 admit will will result in staff working on low salaries initially. However, the considerably higher stretch goals will secure full releases on other formats: £150,000 will secure a PC release in March 2016, whereas a steeper £350,000 goal will bring Formula Fusion over to PS4 and Xbox One. Virtual reality integration will also be possible with if a £250,000 is reached."
