Reflections is a game that was revealed out of nowhere, by Broken Window Studios, soon after their Kickstarter success, Grave. Its described as a real-world adventure game where every action you take has meaningful consequences that radically shape the experience. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on the game in its early alpha stage, to give our thoughts on it and see how the game is shaping up.

Frontier Developments crowd-funded indie game, Elite: Dangerous, has finally launched on Steam in all its glory. The game made it through the Kickstarter process and then had to overcome the Greenlight hurdle and then it eventually made it onto Steam's Early Access platform, and now it's graduated from Early Access and has officially launched for the masses.

One Angry Gamer "Corridor-RPGs, its the name given to many AAA role-playing games and it fits perfectly. Just like corridor-shooters, the corridor-RPG is a string-along adventure where choices are usually kind of vapid or stilted and the quests are usually fairly strict. Aurofinity and Dreamatrix have decided to go a completely different route with Wave of Darkness, an isometric RPG with a non-linear story and offering players the ability to grow and expand the story as they see fit."

While some are always going to have that massive fan push behind them to see hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding others barely make it to the finish line. Due to the nature of Kickstarter, there's simply not enough money to go around to fund every worthwhile campaign. The purpose of this post is to shine a light on those campaigns that had the chops for success, but for one reason or another failed to make their goal this time."

Will Dubé and the team behind Kickstarter success Jotun have made the tough decision to alter Jotuns art style. To deal with production constraints, the team has announced that the remaining Jotun will be fully rendered in 3D. Dubé has stated that it was simply too expensive and too long to continue with a hand-drawn art style but hopes that fans will embrace the new decision.
