Keith writes: While Comcept INC has upset it's fair share of fans and Kickstarter backers, it seems that they understand just how bad the situation is and has a plan to at least try to make it right. Recently announced, Comcept INC is releasing an "Exclusive" trial version of Mighty No.9, for everyone who donated to the Kickstarter campaign. They're looking at releasing this trail as of September 15, 2015, so be on the look out for it.
And this trial is a dozy.
We'll have access to four levels straight from the full game, which is an increase of one as the original demo only gave access to three levels. The stages included will be the Opening Stage, No. 1 Stage, No. 3 Stage, and the No. 5 Stage in their complete states! Along with that, the stages will have all of their cut scenes intact, so we'll get access to part of the Mighty No. 9 story.

GR:
Divinity: Original Sin succeeded because it captured the essence of old-school RPGs with progressive mechanics. It brought the CRPG genre to the 21st century in a way like few other games, and that success has resulted in a sequela sequel that was funded in a single day on Kickstarter. The Kickstarter page briefly details origin stories, competitive quests, and skill crafting; important mechanics I got to see in action at PAX Prime.
