DC: Anyway, there is more to do in Destiny: The Taken King, which I intend on doing in the coming days, but until then please know that youre in for a different, more enjoyable ride than the first time around with the Destiny universe. TS: Its impossible to detail all the changes, large and small, that have been made to Destiny with The Taken King, and it will take some time for the games massive and vocal fan community to figure out what really works and what doesnt. And while this isnt a radical reinvention of Destiny expect that next year, when well likely see the first proper sequel to the game its a significant evolutionary step forward, adding a plethora of new things to see, do and shoot. True, I still dont know my Hunters name. But suddenly Im a lot more excited about spending another year with her.

GT: Its evident Bungie has been listening to fan feedback this last year and has worked hard to reinvent Destiny. The story is presented better than ever, the new subclasses offer different playstyles and draw players together, and the grind is alleviated thanks to a plethora of post-game missions and the Dreadnaught patrol zone. We havent played the raid and are choosing to judge Destiny on the content that will be delivered to players on day one, but we have incredibly high hopes given everything weve seen so far. If you are a new, returning, or current player in Destiny, the Taken King is absolutely worth checking out.
