They're quite awesome, too. Sony's stable of exclusives have significantly improved over the past generation, offering content that you cannot find anywhere else but PlayStation. This top ten list features what I consider to be the ten best Sony franchises. From Kratos to Nathan Drake, Jak and Daxter to Ratchet Clank, and Wipeout to Gran Turismo, PlayStation fans have been spoiled rotten by these franchises."

From the moment that Kratos ripped off Icaruss wings mid-flight in God of War II and then just stuck them on his own back and flew out of there like nothing had even happened, I knew that the God of War series would be one of the most amazing things ever to happen to gaming. I have fond memories of trading off control of Kratos with my best friend in high school and yelling at everyone on the screen to Suck my chains; and then promptly making them suck on my chains. Its seemed like a long time coming, but the hugely anticipated prequel to the original God of War trilogy is finally here. So how does Ascension hold up to the rest of God of Wars incredible legacy?

Kratos is a man of few words.
Sure, he shouts and grunts and generally sounds-off on whatever herculean task he's currently making his bitch, but in general, Kratos keeps quiet. The difference has always been that there's a lot going on around our hero. Massive figures loom in the background and the epic battles that serve as scenery leave the player with an impression of importance and significance in the timeline of Greek mythology.

What do Kratos and Nathan Drake do between battles? Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank? Maybe they just eat bagels. Or at least that's what the guys at Robot Chicken think. They did a cool little commercial for Sony to promote Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale and I just enjoy the style of their stop-animation. [...]
