| ZTGD | Velocity 2X (XB1) Review

Ken McKown writes: I never managed to get into FuturLabs Velocity game on previous machines. Something about it never clicked with me, and I moved onto other things without ever returning to give it a fair chance. This is why I forced myself to handle this review, as my colleagues have been telling me how addictive this hybrid shooter/platformer really is. I am glad I did. Once it clicked after the first few levels, I discovered what makes Velocity 2X so addictive. The pitch-perfect controls and intricately designed levels make progressing so much fun.

Dear UK Games Industry,
We have been lying to you, and we have had enough.
Last week, the No.1 game in the UK charts was not the most popular game.
The Chinese Room should have been celebrating its first No.1 with Everybodys Gone To The Rapture. Just as this week, indie developer Mike Bithell should also have had a Top Ten game (at least) with his PC and PS4 title, Volume.
Thats not what our chart says. That is not how the history books will read. These new IPs by two British independents are missing out on the recognition they definitely deserve

| Is Kingdom Hearts III Shaping Up To Be a Good Game?
Added: 27.08.2015 3:18 | 27 views | 0 comments
Last weekend at Disneys D23 expo, it was revealed that Kingdom Hearts III will have a Big Hero 6 world. This news understandably encouraged others to go back and examine Kingdom Hearts IIIs E3 trailer, as well as the information surrounding the game. The game is undoubtedly a long ways out, as even a 2016 release date seems unlikely. KH3s director is also working on Final Fantasy XV, which has been in development for nearly 10 years at this point. However, more and formation about Kingdom Hearts III has slowly trickled out from press conferences and interviews. Reexamining the trailer Square Enix played at this past E3 and thinking how far out the game should have gamers seriously asking one question: Is Kingdom Hearts III shaping up to be a good game?
