Avalanche Studios has decided to go a different way with Mad Max than the standard film franchise tie-in route.
After consulting with Mad Max creator George Miller, the studio decided not to retread over the story of Mad Max: Fury Road. While the game follows a similar arc set in the same world, it has it's own beats, rhythms, and characters.
