Project Rain World came to an end last week after a wildly successful Kickstarter that raised $63,255 three times its original goal.
Players on Mac, PC and Linux will be able to enjoy a fully-realized version of the tale of Slugcat, a tiny, cute denizen of a world that is constantly battered by heavy rain (much like England). Slugcat must venture out to hunt during one of the planets rare dry periods.
BitPulse spoke with James Primate, the composer behind Project Rain Worlds industrial soundtrack, to chat a little about what it feels like to win at Kickstarter.

Miranda Barbour, an alleged Craigslist serial killer, has been all over the news lately, and Fox News is now reporting that the criminal in question enjoyed playing From Software's punishingly difficult Dark Souls.
Major news outlets are quick to try and link video games to psychotic murderers, with the Grand Theft Auto series being a prime example. Is it just me, or is an interest in Dark Souls stretching it a bit?

VRFocus: Having launched just over a year ago, Born Ready Games Strike Suit Zero has developed a keen audience on Windows, Mac and Linux PC formats. Developed by a small UK studio thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, Strike Suit Zero is a space combat videogame designed to pick-up the slack the genre has been experiencing since Zone of the Enders decided to ground the action in anime storylines. Strike Suit Zero has a story of course, but its far timately involved with player action instead of passive spectatorship.

Zelda Informer: "The Legend of Zelda series is a franchise that has been dissected on so many levels. Players have drawn andat timesextrapolated such a wealth of personal meaning from the games.
Coursing through the entire series from the classic installments through to modern incarnations, and from handhelds to home consoles, is a centrally grounded theme. It is the tale of friendship and loneliness, of love and loss.
From Links Awakening to A Link Between Worlds, from Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask through to Skyward Sword, the Zelda franchise is a story of making friends, keeping friends and losing friends.
In Zelda, our own lives, and the world around us, we cannot escape this crucial theme that is in our nature as humans: companionship."
