Age of Wonders III: Eternal Lords Review (GameWatcher)
Added: 27.04.2015 11:17 | 10 views | 0 comments
From GameWatcher.com: "Eternal Lords is an expansion pack in the grandest tradition of the form. By which I mean its bloody massive. Not only do you get two brand new races, the Frostlings (a bit like Game of Thrones white walkers) and the Tigrans (Egyptian cat-people), but you also get to indulge your evil side with a new class, the Necromancer. Quantity doesnt always mean quality of course, but thankfully in this case the new additions arent simply nice little bonuses. They provide radically new ways to approach Triumphs already excellent fantasy empire-builder."

| Finished Dark Souls and Bloodborne? Lords of the Fallen is only £19.85 on XO

Dealspwn: Need a new hardcore action RPG to get your teeth stuck into on Xbox One? We'd certainly recommend giving Dark Souls: Scholars of the First Sin a go first, but if you're looking for something completely new we'd recommend Bloodborne on PS4. Sorry, we'll stop now.
Lords of the Fallen was very rough around the edges at launch, especially for a full price game. But at half price it's worth a look if you're a fan of Dark Souls. The boss fights in particular are very rewarding.

Tin Salamunic: 4X strategy games arent typically my area of expertise. Im not particularly proficient at micro managing endless menus and stats, and to be honest, there are very few titles in the genre that pique my interest. So why is it then that Im reviewing the Eternal Lords Expansion to Age of Wonders III? I was introduced to Age of Wonders III only a few weeks ago, and I immediately fell in love with it. In fact, it became the first 4X strategy game that I couldnt turn away from (aside from Endless Legend). Ive already invested dozens of hours into the single-player campaign, and while Im still far from being an expert, I have to admit that my attitude towards this peculiar gameplay style has changed dramatically.

Hello! Twenty years ago way back in 1994 we at Oddworld Inhabitants started working on our first video game, which originally had the name of SoulStorm. It was later retitled to the name Oddworld fans now know best: Abes Oddysee. A story-based atmospheric cinematic platformer, Oddysee would go on to define the Oddworld brand humor, epic art, great playability, and a plot that resonated far deeper than it appeared on the surface.
