Lost Dimension Review - Glitch Cat

Added: 29.07.2015 16:19 | 5 views | 0 comments

Glitch Cat - At the end of the day, Atlus Lost Dimension is an excellent and challenging RPG that successfully entertains with its enjoyable combat and guess who gameplay. While it might not be for everyone due to the simplified RPG elements and big focus on finding out whos the traitor, players who do give the game a chance will find a rewarding and satisfying experience that will keep them guessing time and time again.

Lost Dimension review for PS Vita, PS3 - Gaming Age

Added: 29.07.2015 16:19 | 3 views | 0 comments

Gaming Age: There's very little in Lost Dimension that could accurately be described as unique or new. Gameplay-wise, the first thing that springs to mind is Valkyria Chronicles, what with the strategy and the turn-based combat. From a social perspective, if the way each chapter ends with a "judgment" sequence doesn't make you think of Danganronpa, then the fact the characters are a collection of archetypes and stock characters probably will. And, of course, the whole plot is built around the standard "students battling an invading demon from another galaxy" trope, which brings to mind seemingly every Japanese RPG of every stripe in existence. Basically, if Lost Dimension were being graded on its originality, its outlook would be pretty bleak.

Lost Dimension is no different, as its essentially a turn-based gridless RPG that features elements of the party game Mafia (or Werewolf if youd rather) attached to a sci-fi storyline with relationship-building elements thrown in. In short, it feels like Valkyria Chronicles and DanganRonpa had a kid. Once you get into the game, however, you find that its a whole lot more than the sum of its parts, and its actually a fairly robust experience across the board. Whether or not that robust ex...

Lost Dimension Review - Gaming Nexus

From the review: "Like I said, keeping your friends close and your enemies closer could not be more apropos in Lost Dimension. The depth of this game makes it a pretty solid addition to the Vita library, even if it does come off a little heavy handed about some life lessons. "
