Memoria - GR Review

A point-and-click (and click and click and click) adventure.
I have fond memories of point-and-click adventures. Back in the day, games like Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders were not only fun but innovative in both gameplay and humor. The MacVenture series, Sierra Games, and LucasArts (formerly LucasFilm Games, currently another victim at the hands of Disney) thrived on the point-and-click, and even as console gaming climbed up into the mainstream, the graphical adventure genre maintained a stronghold on the PC gaming community.

This week on PSN, the story of Daud -- the legendary assassin behind the death of Dunwall’s beloved Empress, Jessamine Kaldwin -- concludes in Dishonored’s final add-on: The Brigmore Witches.
Having been betrayed by your top lieutenant, Billie Lurk, in The Knife of Dunwall, you’ll need to rely on two rival gangs -- the Dead Eels and the Hatters -- in order to make your way to Brigmore Mansion to confront The Brigmore Witches’ main antagonist, Delilah.

| The Wonderful 101 Direct and Demo Set the Standard for Wii U Marketing

Nintendo Life - The Wonderful 101 has had a slightly peculiar route to the Wii U, in terms of visibility and awareness. At E3 2012 Nintendo used its live conference to make peculiar jokes about zombies liking French food and provide a rather thorough walkthrough of Luigi's Ghost Mansion in Nintendo Land. That presentation had good moments, but the pacing was arguably off, and we were talking about the main presentation in Nintendo Life HQ when Nintendo produced footage where Satoru Iwata stared at a banana, for example, and some crazy game called Project P-100 was shown off. It was colourful, looked gorgeous and was bonkers, which made its omission from the main presentation a head-scratcher.
