Early Access content is totally the new black. Nowadays, developers are pretty keen when it comes to including their fans in the development process, and its proof with the countless number of early access games currently parading through Steam. Theres been a lot of crazy media surrounding quite a few titles, but one game in particular has managed to stay out of the bad press. Interstellar Marines, a new game from Zero Point Software, is currently in its pre-alpha phase, and its resurrecting the old-school FPS with some seriously new-school flare.

The hands-off previews pulled the wool over the eyes of the press. Retail exclusives, pre-order bonuses and special editions were shoved in everyones faces. Interstellar Marines is an ambitious titles from new Denmark studio Zero Point Software. The goal of the game is to create perhaps the first AAA Indie game, which is described by them as Half-Life meets System Shock, giving birth to Rainbow Six in space!

Independent games developer and publisher Zero Point Software has revealed that its next major update to their sci-fi FPS Interstellar Marines will bring the addition of co-op gameplay to the currently multiplayer-focused title.
