Killzone: Shadow Fall climbs 13 places to re-enter the Top 10.

Call of Duty: Ghosts holds at No.2, Battlefield 4 is at No.3, Assassin's Creed 4 takes fourth spot and GTA 5 is at No.5.

The week's biggest mover is Sony's Killzone: Shadow Fall, which climbs from No.21 to No.8 thanks to renewed stock of PS4 hardware in the UK. Forza Motorsport 5 is the highest-placed Xbox One exclusive at No.12.

Elsewhere, SEGA's Aliens: Colonial Marines climbs back into the Top 10 at No.10, entirely because of its sub £5 asking price.

Meanwhile things continue to go badly for Gran Turismo 6, plummeting ten places to No.20.

How Alien: Isolation Can Be Successful

Added: 12.01.2014 11:16 | 8 views | 0 comments

Chris West of SpawnFirst writes: "I believe it might be very safe to say that the expectations for Alien: Isolation aren't very high thanks to the disaster that was Aliens: Colonial Marines. With consistently low scores and multiple "Worst Of 2013" nominations, including #3 worst game of 2013 on SpawnFirst, Colonial Marines remains as the poster child for terrible movie tie-in games and possibly the worst game the franchise. So Aliens: Isolation doesn't have to do too much to be better than Colonial Marines, but there are many things it must do right to be both good, and win back any betrayed fans and gamers."

All Age Gamings 2013 Game of the Year Award

Added: 11.01.2014 14:16 | 9 views | 0 comments

Tyler from All Age Gaming writes "Our fair readers, another year in gaming has come and gone. 2013 was a brilliant year, full of brilliant, well-made games for players of every type. However, for every single passionately made, emotionally charged and intellectually involved experience released this year, there were also idiotically made pieces of dross to match. This was the year that gave us the likes of The Last of Us and Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds, only to be balanced by Aliens: Colonial Marines and Ride to Hell: Retribution."
