Wii U owners won't be getting a new Call of Duty game this year, as Activision has confirmed that it will not be releasing Sledgehammer's upcoming first-person shooter on Nintendo's console.
"No, no Wii U," Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey said in a post on Twitter when asked about a possible version of Advance Warfare for the Nintendo faithful. "That was an Activision decision. We are focused on Xbox One, PS4, and PC."

Gamereactor/GRTV published an interview with Sony Worldwide Studios Europe's Michael Denny talking about the general situation, Wild, Until Dawn, Tearaway, PS Vita and more:
"Over the next six months some massive titles coming out for us, you know when we're talking about Bloodborne, The Order, Driveclub, Singstar, Little Big Planet 3, and again looking into next year I think we've announced 7-8 exclusive titles with Uncharted 4 coming next year as well so some massive titles. And again if you buy into PlayStation 4 you can just see from what we showed at the press conference last night [last week] that we're not only getting the big titles, but that there's going to be lots of innovation as well."

| Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Developer Interview Video with Michael Condrey - AusGamers

AusGamers caught up with Seldgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey to discuss all things Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
From the interview:
"The feel, that sixty frames a second, low latency control, that gun on game gameplay in MP is best and we love it. Weve got years of amazing work from studios ahead of us to stand on. Were standing on the shoulders of giants, truly, but we wanted to put our mark on it, and take some chances, and really say heres a chance to almost take a new IP approach to Call of Duty. So within the values of Call of Duty: about it being a heros war, and about the journey of a noble cause, and being about your squads, and being about grounded and believable, relatable, ripped from the headlines sort of fictions, where do we go with that? How do we make that our own, and how do we put our stamp on that?"
