Celebrate Saint Patricks Day With Your Favorite Video Game Characters

Added: 18.03.2015 14:22 | 18 views | 0 comments

Castle Pyramid: Saint Patricks Day is back and Im ready to celebrate with my selection of movies, drinks, and of course video games! Like you, Ill be watching movies such as The Boondock Saints, The Quiet Man, Michael Collins, and In Bruges while downing a Shamrock shake. Aside from Irish-oriented movies, food, and music, I also like to celebrate Saint Patricks Day by playing games that have an Irish video game character somewhere because, sadly, there arent that many where the main character is of Irish descent. However, there is a selection of characters with beginnings that originate on the Emerald Isle whether they were born there or are descendants of Irish immigrants. And, of course, quite a few of the listed characters display many of the stereotypes associated with those from Ireland. So here are some characters that you can celebrate St Patricks Day with!

Battlefield: Hardline Review | USGamer

USGamer: If there is ever to be a television reboot of Miami Vice, I expect it'll beat at least a superficial resemblance to Hardline's single-player campaign, which tries hard to evoke the classic '80s cop drama. As expected, it by turns resembles '80s and '90s cop dramas and the films of Michael Bay, leaving little room for nuance outside of a bit of musing about the drug war and maybe a plotline about a privatized (and very corrupt) police force. Battlefield Hardline aspires to be nothing more or less than a cheesy cop drama, even throwing in "Previously on..." trailers for good measure.

Throwdown Ep. 26 Hypersexualized

Added: 13.03.2015 21:23 | 3 views | 0 comments

Tony Polanco from The Koalition writes: "At the beginning of the week, Polygon Reviews Editor Arthur Gies and Frogdice CEO Michael Hartman got into a debate on Twitter about hypersexualized characters in video games. This inspired our main topic which is about a developers right of artistic expression. When is it justified to tell a developer how they should create their games? Should a developer sacrifice their artistic vision so as to not offend anyone? Other topics include: Uncharted 4's delay, Titanfall coming to PS4, and February's NPD numbers."
