Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will receive an update soon that will introduce a number of polish items and fixes such as connectivity optimization, Sledgehammer Games studio head Michael Condrey recently revealed in a blogpost.

An update is currently in the works for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and will be rolling out to consumers soon, Sledgehammer Games' Michael Condrey has confirmed.
Here's are a few of the changes that will be included:
Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges.
Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement.
Fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances.
Connectivity optimizations.
Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging.
Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons.
Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios.
Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match.
