Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library the Monster Seal Review I Hey Poor Player

Hey Poor Player's Francis DiPersio writes - "The PlayStation Vita certainly isnt short on dungeon-crawling RPGs or games teeming with ludicrous amounts of fan service. Sonys mighty black handled has become something of a refuge for these types of games, offering those on-the-go dungeon dwellers and fans of scantily-clad anime heroines a veritable smorgasbord to meet their particular gaming needs. Now, Atlus is the latest publisher to enter the fray with Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library the Monster Seal, developer Aquaplus hardcore dungeon-crawler that gained a name for itself in Japan for its deep mechanics and risque antics. However, on a handheld already filled to the brim with labyrinths to explore and fleshy femme fatales to ogle, does Dungeon Travelers 2 do enough to stand out from the pack?"

One of the best games in the Dungeon Crawling Role-Playing Games genre has just been released for North America and Europe. This game is called Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library the Monster Seal and it is a first person dungeon crawler and one lengthy, difficult experience. The game was bashed about by fans for Atlus censoring only four images throughout the entire game.
Dungeon Travelers 2 takes place in the kingdom of Romulea and it is currently in a state of peril. Monsters have started showing up everywhere in the world and started revolting against humanity. As a player, you take control of Fried, an adventurer from the Royal Library who is sent out to stop the monsters. This sets up the main plot of Dungeon Travelers 2.

Imps. Goblins. Slimes. Shitake Mushrooms. These are a few of the first and weakest monsters you face in classic RPGs like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Chrono Trigger. These monsters lead a depressing existence: walk around the forest, get slashed by a level 1 hero a few times, and disintegrate in an orange blur. Or so you think.
This is all in a day's work for the employees of "The Bestiary", the worldwide leader in random monster outsourcing. Employees go to the office each morning, get dressed, and go to work to pretend to die to heroes for their enjoyment.
Mediocre Monster puts you in the role of Gob, as he goes through everyday life working as a random monster. Follow Gob as he goes through a journey from being a lowly tutorial monster in the Tutorial Forest to being palette swapped into a well-respected monster who still dies to heroes easily, but after slightly more hits.
