MNJ:
The Total War Series has always been a hit or miss for me. I have played some of the older games like Total War: Rome or Total War: Medieval II but vaguely touched up on Total War: Shogun 2 or Total War: ATTILLA. I remember hardly showing any interest with Total War: Medieval II apart from the immense battles because of the intense amount of political standpoints and negotiations. Total War series was not my cup of tea until now.

When I first saw the game, I felt like they may be using the cuteness factor of cats to sell a subpar puzzle game. I was wrong. The game offers some real challenge, demanding that you build an all purpose solution to several different problems. The Cat Machine requires crafty thinking and some patience in order to solve these complex conundrums. Anyone looking for a great strategy game for the weekend could do much worst than this thoughtful and cute game. Im proud to say that The Cat Machine is more than welcome to has a cheezburger.

It almost feels like it was yesterday that I played Trine for the first time. A real marvel of a game, it was. Not only did it feature beautiful graphics and phenomenal physics, but there were also some really good puzzles to be found as the three unlikely heroes made their way through the given encounters. It was a different kind of sidescroller/platformer, and people recognized the value of this new title. Two years later, Trine 2 was released for the general public to enjoy. This title was a much-improved version of an already brilliant game. With even prettier visuals and more dynamic sequences, Trine 2 was better in virtually every way, except maybe for the puzzles, which were now a tad bit too easy for my taste. After these two games and a hefty expansion, there was little place for improvement and thus Frozenbyte, the developer, had to come up with something new for the series third installment. Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is, then, the seemingly final evolutionary...
