| The Jackbox Party Pack Review - Mouse n Joypad
Added: 06.12.2014 14:11 | 7 views | 0 comments
Gale writes -"Its quite interesting that Jackbox Games decided to release their newest party/trivia game right now. With the holiday season coming up, people are sure to throw parties and chill with their friends and family whenever they get the chance and what better way to have fun in those moments than by playing a socially versatile trivia game? Moving along with that in mind, The Jackbox Party Pack is quite a pack indeed. Coming stocked with four great games and one that isnt quite that great, its bound to catch everybodys attention."

| Thomas Was Alone Review - Mouse n Joypad

Will writes - "Thomas Was Alone is the most adorable game I have played this year. Its also been around for a little while. First making an appearance as a flash game in 2010, developer Mike Bithell took the concept to adorable new heights on PC and Mac in 2012. Thomas Was Alone has been out long enough that I should have played it by now, especially with my affinity for artsy and adorable indie games but I hadnt before this review. Im glad I get to amend that issue. If I was ever unconvinced Thomas Was Alone was worth playing, I sure am now."

| Tales From The Borderlands Ep1 Review - Mouse n Joypad

Johnny writes - "With the extra power from the new consoles, I was expecting a much improved experience in Tales From The Borderlands over previous releases from the developer. This however was not to be as Telltales engine still seems to have the same old problems. Most of the entire episode was very shaky and suffering from frame-rate issues from the beginning, and in a lot of sequences the characters were repeating their sentences like some kind of recording stuck in a loop. This genuinely took away from the story and completely shattered my immersion in the game. It almost felt like it was done using the Stop Motion method of animation, and done badly at that. There really is no excuse for these problems arising as Telltale have had enough time in development for these to be ironed out, but again it seems we have been delivered something that partially works. Graphically it suited the Borderlands universe perfectly, but again it was let down by mistakes, with characters floatin...

| Escape Dead Island Review - Mouse n Joypad

Johnny writes "When I previewed Escape Dead Island at EGX this year I have to be honest and say I really did not think a lot of it. The demo build I played on the day made absolutely no sense and I got no feeling for the storyline involved. Having now played the entire game I have to say that it turned out better than I was expecting and surprised me with its deep involving story. When you first see Escape Dead Island you would not think of it as being anything to do with the previous releases in the series, with its comic book style graphics and cut-scenes and third person view, you would not be blamed for mistaking it for a completely different experience if not for the title.
