TB: I have a good view of the ridge up ahead, which is lush and vibrant with swaying cold-hardy trees. A plume of black smoke, a sure sign of an outpost, billows into the cobalt blue sky above, and off in the distance sits the prestigious Himalayas, the piercing white eyes of Mount Everest staring back at me. Not more than 50 yards to my left, a small herd of elephants grazes in a field of tall grass.

Randal's Monday Preview - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 12.10.2014 1:12 | 5 views | 0 comments

Gale writes - "Grass is green, sky is blue and Daedalic Entertainment is very fond of point n click adventures. Coming from a long line of games published by Daedalic that were usually among the second best in this ancient genre is Randals Monday a rather quirky adventure that looks towards the Groundhog Day for inspiration. Ive been privileged to playing the first couple of chapters of this story and can safely say that the developer, Nexus Game Studios, might be onto something with Randals decidedly groundhog-less adventure."

Tickles writes - "Visually Creative Assembly have done what many of us though was impossible. They have fulfilled their boasts of staying true to the source material and Sevastopol Station looks and feels exactly like the far future as we envisaged almost forty years ago. Even the way lights activate is brilliantly executed. Everything is delightfully retro, theres no Bluetooth, no touchscreen and no convenient PDAs. You will gain access to a Hacking Tool which is used on certain doors, when activated you have to complete a short mini-game, this sounds like it might be tiresome after a while but there are a few different mini-games and when you are activating it time doesnt stop."

In addition to a little more time in Skylands with Skylanders Trap Team, I'm looking to continue making moves on the Mount Doom... or as other critics in the industry might call it, the busy Fall season of new video games. As buried as I am with reviews, I'm hopeful to spend time on a few games not under the umbrella of work this weekend.

Forza Horizon 2 Review - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 11.10.2014 0:12 | 17 views | 0 comments

Will writes -"When you first boot up Forza Horizon 2 you will be greeted by skinny women dancing on cars in a loose awkward hippie sort of way. After more dancing and a sort of vapid narration you will be racing in a Mclaren P1, because thats how all these games start now a days, and on your way to learning the game. Luckily this tutorial/premise the game forces does not last long, cut scenes are infrequent and inoffensive and driving the McLaren is as fun as ever. Forza Horizon 2 is a very competent racing game, and most of its missteps come from a misplaced desire to appeal to the modern MTV generation."
