Warmachine Tactics Preview - Mouse n Joypad
Added: 04.10.2014 23:12 | 6 views | 0 comments
Will writes - "Warmachine Tactics is Privateer Presss foray into electronic gaming. They have taken one of Privateer Presss most popular tabletop games, and translated the core gameplay on to PC with a fair amount of success. By translating core gameplay I dont mean bringing the tabletop game in its exact form onto a virtual board. There are simply a different set of dynamics at play when you sit down at your computer to play a video game vs. sitting around a table with friends."

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
I am not a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy but it is a classic source of inspiration for fantasy stories. Aragorns Quest is based on Tolkiens work and lets you guide the aforementioned hero as he battles the minions of Sauron. Your purpose is to reach the Black Gate of Mordor so that Frodo throws the magical ring of the evil wizard into the lava of Mount Doom and destroys it once and for all.

Rediscover deep space and its most fearsome inhabitant.
Until Isolation oozed through our letterbox, we had to confess: we didn't find the alien scary. Not one bit. It would have felt like being scared of Mickey Mouse or something. The original film was a horror classic, but the following 35 years of rampant commercialism all but declawed HR Giger's most infamous creation. Nowadays, you can stuff your shopping basket with everything from cuddly Xenomorph plushies to Pez alien heads that impregnate your stomach with tiny bricks of compressed sugar. Overexposed and overfamiliar, the creature had no business instilling fear in anything but our wallets in 2014.

| Logitech G402 Gaming Mouse Review | New England Gamer
Added: 03.10.2014 13:12 | 5 views | 0 comments
Dan writes - "The latest release by Logitech is their next attempt at getting into that ever popular FPS market with the G402 Hyperion Fury which advertises tracking speeds of over 500 IPS (inches per second). This new mouse features Logitechs Fusion Engine sensor and the Delta Zero sensor for some insane levels of accuracy on a mouse. The G402 has been touted at many events as the fastest gaming mouse you could buy for FPS gaming and according to the top gamers the issue in FPSs is that their previous mice could not track as fast as they can move so the need for the G402 Hyperion Fury was apparent. It should also be noted that G402 is not the top tier Logitech mouse, this mouse is the meant to be priced under the flagship G502 Proteus Core; so the comparison has to be made."

| Etekcity Scroll Alpha High Precision Gaming Mouse - Hardware Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
I had not heard of Etekcity until a friend went on ranting about this super excellent and inexpensive mouse that he bought off of Amazon had brought them to my attention. I was immediately intrigued by the premise of a gaming mouse that did not cost an arm, a leg, and your firstborn child. When I reached out to Etekcity for a review unit I was surprised at how jovial and good-natured the folks were and even more shocked at how fast a unit was sent to me. You see I am used to waiting weeks sometimes to receive a unit and when you are excited to be reviewing a piece of hardware, well the wait can be atrocious. Fortunately within mere days I was holding onto the small box that contained the Etekcity Scroll Alpha High Precision, 8200 DPI gaming mouse and you can read on to find out more about the device.

| Defense Grid 2 Review - Mouse n Joypad
Added: 01.10.2014 15:12 | 13 views | 0 comments
Johnny writes - "By the end of the campaign I was baying for more, and with all the options available, Defense Grid 2 delivered more. Even if my experience with the online multiplayer aspect of the game was somewhat of a let down, I totally enjoyed every second of the maps available and the modes in which they are offered. Defense Grid 2 is definitely a game that everyone can enjoy, a break from the button mashing mayhem of shooters and endless zombie invasions. I found it quite simply the best tower defense game I have ever played on console, better even than the first title in the series. "

One does not simply walk into any nearby games retailer.
Shadow of Mordor, then. You're probably wondering why we haven't reviewed it yet. The answer is buried deeper than the Balrog of Moria, deeper than any dwarf has ever delved. It is to be found...

| Dead Island 2 Preview - Mouse n Joypad
Added: 29.09.2014 16:12 | 10 views | 0 comments
Johnny writes - "Talking to YAGER you can actually see the passion these guys have when it comes to the title, and that shows through in the gameplay. Graphically, even as it stands it screams next gen, the gameplay is hectic, fun and engrossing. I predict that Dead Island 2 will be one of the biggest games of next year if not the biggest. The only bad point I took away from my time playing it, was that I had to stop, I could have sat there for days and not noticed time go by totally wrapped up in its smooth combat and blood splattering antics. Josh writes, "The first expansion pack for Age of Wonders III marks the return of the Halflings to the franchise. While there does seem to be a lot of features packed into the expansion pack, its not overly game changing in the grand scheme of things. Nonetheless the amount of new features should keep fans happy and add value to an already much loved addition to the Age of Wonders series."
