Destiny Review - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 15.09.2014 23:12 | 11 views | 0 comments

Tickles writes - "Destiny is one of a new kind of shooter, an always online cooperative/competitive First Person Shooter with Role Playing elements thrown into the mix. While there was an incredible level of hype following the games announcement and subsequent Alpha and Beta tests the game itself is hard to define. My first problem with Destiny is the fact that it has to be played online, there is no offline function and while you have the choice to play through the roughly 10-12 hour campaign solo you need to connect to the Destiny servers to even get into the game. There have been numerous games that have had this same set up over the past couple of years but now that is has branched out into a AAA First Person Shooter it means that eventually, even if it is years down the line, that these servers will be turned off and no one will be able to play the game"

Commando Jack Review - Mouse n Joypad

Rahman writes - "Bottom line, Tower Defence games are evil. They suck you in with simple controls, mechanics and concepts, before throwing everything it has at you, faster than you can think. This method of ramping the stakes up is artificial and unappreciated since the game doesnt actually get harder, you just have more enemies to deal with. Something that adapts to your methods, thats impervious to certain tactics, thats difficulty done correctly."

Flockers Review - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 14.09.2014 18:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

Johnny writes - "Flockers will be unable to escape being compared to the much loved Lemmings franchise, game play wise it is similar, but there are also differences. Flockers is enjoyable, especially the dangerous murderous environment of the Worms weapon factory. It loses out on the control system being awkward and slow, often to the demise of your flock, sticking with it is the way to go, and you will soon overcome some of that. The level design is simply excellent, making you think all the way to the end of each level. With a steep learning curve it may not appeal to those who like being eased into a game such as this. I enjoyed the game, and am still enjoying it despite it giving me high blood pressure at times."

GoD Factory: Wingmen Review - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 14.09.2014 14:12 | 7 views | 0 comments

Josh writes -"Its been more than a decade since I have played some pretty excellent space combat simulation games such as Wing Commander Prophesy and Starlancer. Playing GoD Factory: Wingmen thus felt like a nostalgic return to the genre for me. GoD Factory is primarily a multiplayer 4 on 4 space shooter game where the objective is to be the first to reduce the opponents carrier integrity to zero. While it can simply be played as a traditional space shooter where you just simply concentrate on obliterating enemy gunships as the opposing carrier ships blasts their cannons at each other repeatedly in the background until both carriers are simultaneously destroyed, victory can be achieved much more quickly by destroying key structures on the enemys carrier."

Space Engineers Preview - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 10.09.2014 9:12 | 3 views | 0 comments

Gale writes - "Whats great about Space Engineers is that the game is complicated just as much as you want it to be. Scrapping together a small shuttle with which youll flurry among the stars requires minimal amounts of actual engineering. On the other hand, building a 1:1 replica of, say, the USG Ishimura will have you figuring things out for weeks. Virtually everything is possible, as the contraptions on offer are extremely malleable and offer a vast array of uses."
