N++ Review: Simple Visuals + Brutally Tough Gameplay + A++ Music = Awesome Platformer | Short Pause
Added: 07.08.2015 15:18 | 5 views | 0 comments
Short Pause: "N++ has no story, no characters, no checkpoints, no voice acting, and no flashy graphics. It doesn't need any of those things. It's a game that accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do. Yes, you will die a lot. You will get frustrated at times. But you'll also have fun and feel a great sense of accomplishment when you finally ace a level that you have failed repeatedly. If you're looking for an easy game, then look elsewhere. But, if you seek a very challenging platformer that will keep you busy for a while, then N++ is well worth the admission price."

| Review: Funk of Titans (Wii U eShop) | 8 Bit Forward
Added: 04.08.2015 11:18 | 7 views | 0 comments
In a warring Greek universe, four styles of music are competing for survival, and it is up to you to claim the throne for Funk, the legendary holy music. Zeus and Aretha Franklin send you, Perseus, down to Earth to run through the world and destroy the Music Titans in ultimate dance battles. Concept-wise, Funk of Titans is something that hasn't really been seen before since it is so out there, yet the actual gameplay falls a bit flat in comparison to the outlandish plot.

| Are We Overreacting to the Rock Band 4 Tracklist? | Music Monday
Added: 04.08.2015 5:18 | 18 views | 0 comments
Jake Valentine from The Game Fanatics writes: "A sample of the Rock Band 4 tracklist is on display on the Rock Band 4 website. Part of the issue with doing yet another Rock Band title is the fact that some of our most wanted songs already exist in the game. In addition to the three physical releases, plus off-shoots and over a thousand DLC releases, the chances of one of your faves already being in the game are pretty high."

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
This week's collection of games comes from a variety of genres and systems. Some of the titles you might expect, coming from one of the most beloved franchises in all of video gaming. Some of the others? Probably somewhat more of a surprise.
Columns (SNES) - Clotho
Named after one of the Three Sisters of Fate from Greek Mythology, Clotho is one of the most recognizable tune from the 32-bit era of video gaming. Ask anyone and watch their face contort into one that of filled with nostalgia.

| Final fantasy XII HD Remaster in the Works, Says Composer
Added: 02.08.2015 5:40 | 17 views | 0 comments
At the Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy concert in Pittsburgh, PA, conductor Arnie Roth revealed to the crowd that a "Final Fantasy XII remake" is coming. According to attendees, FFXII lead composer Hitoshi Sakimoto confirmed.
There are currently no details about the system(s), specific changes to the game, or release date.
Be careful here, as people often miscategorize "remake" and "remaster." I highly doubt they will be completely doing the game over from scratch. I expect something more like what we got with Final Fantasy X, which was a remaster, because it started with the foundation of assets that already existed.
