Dominic Sheard: "The release of Hyperdimension Neptunia Hypercollection is a bit of a strange one to process. This is where things become very interesting, because the publisher/developer began to remake the three games and release them on Vita, rather than PS3. These remakes, dubbed Re;Birth, are also coming to the PC, with the first one already available to purchase on Steam, the second one coming out at the end of May and the third one to follow at the end of the year. Because of this, the collection of Hyperdimension Neptunia, Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2 and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory as a bundle seems weird - Im not sure exactly who the target for this collection is, and you will see why I think that over the course of this Hyperco...

Marking the very first exclusive Japanese RPG for the new crop of gaming consoles, Omega Quintet is poised to make a mark and ideally set a solid foundation for whats to come.
For the past several years, Compile Heart has found its biggest success with Hyperdimension Neptunia, a series which has spawned sequels, remakes, spin-offs, and even an anime. While Neptunia Victory II was just released in Japan, the developer took a chance on an original IP and brought it here to the West.

Jorge S Fernandez: "In case it wasn't blatantly obvious at this point, Compile Heart tends to cater to a very specific crowd with their output of RPG games. Namely, the Otaku crowd who enjoy the concepts of Moe in all of its adorable, occasionally awkward forms. With the breakneck speed in which the Neptunia games are released, Compile Heart and Idea Factory must be making serious bank off of their fanservice-filled franchise, but with their debut onto the Playstation 4, the RPG makers have decided to start the new generation off with a new series that focuses on another popular Japanese trope: pop idols."
