Kentucky Route Zero
"One reason for KRZs success is that it works so well as the kind of game it is trying to be. It is a careful adventure, with a dreamlike story, an easy and comprehensible interface, and a sort of casual, impossible-to-capture cool in its look and sound. Its unintimidating, but coloured with something sinister. A sense of unease. It is a game that its easy to hang out with, to spend some time clicking through and admiring, a game that you might show to a knowing friend. Hey, this looks cool, it seems interesting. Yeah?"

Stick It To The Man! takes the unique sticker based problem solving gameplay from Paper Mario: Sticker Star and refines it to level where it will stick to players brains. Between the unique art style, bizarre characters, legitimitely funny writing, hooking gameplay, and fitting soundtrack top it off, I was thoroughly impressed and surprised with this indie title.

| Baldurs Gate II: Enhanced Edition Review | Attack On Gaming

"A long time ago, closer to ten years than twenty, the original Baldurs Gate was released on the PC platform. It was developed by Bioware and Published by Black Isle Studios (who would later go on to have key members founding Obsidian Entertainment) and was a role playing game adapted from the widely popular Advanced Dungeons Dragons rulebook for the Pen and Paper game. After being a widely successful game, the sequel, Baldurs Gate II, was released and was hugely popular and some would say that it was even more highly regarded than the first. Now, closer to twenty years later, the two games have had a HD remake, allowing a new generation of gamers to experience the wonder of the Baldurs Gate universe in Widescreen and non-blotchy resolutions." - Attack On Gaming

GameWoof: When it comes to RPGs there are a lot of nuances that people either love or hate. We're talking about the multitude of fetch quests or how strangers always seem to come to you for help. Like for any genre it is good to kind of poke fun at these points every now and again. Paradox Interactive seemed to take it upon themselves to do just that with their highly praised game Knights of Pen and Paper. While Knights of Pen and Paper has been out for quite some time and even has upgraded (+1 edition), the gameplay and humor stands as one of the most engaging and fun turn-based RPGs out there.
