GamerZines | Payday 2 Hands-On Preview - 'Pappa Gotta Get Paid'

GamerZines writes: It isnt success which defines memorable moments in co-op experiences, its actually near failure. Think about it. That time in Left 4 Dead 2 when you were moments away from jumping into the evac chopper atop Mercy Hospital only for a rampaging Tank to swipe your team-mates onto the hard ground below or that big boss mech fight in Borderlands 2 when you managed to revive yourself moments from wiping thanks to the boss spawning easy fodder into the world allowing your buddies to get back into the fight via an easy kill. Its these snatching victory from the jaws of defeat moments which make the effort of getting your mates together on one server completely worthwhile, and no co-op shooter has more of these moments than Payday 2.

Trey Parker says "f**k that" to cutting content for DLC

Added: 19.07.2013 16:16 | 1 views | 0 comments

South Park co-creator says he was not interested in offering trimmed down content for The Stick of Truth as expansion packs.

South Parker co-creator Trey Parker has spoken out to say "f**k that" in response to releasing content trimmed from as downloadable content.

During a Comic-Con panel yesterday attended by , Parker said the script he and Matt Stone wrote for The Stick of Truth ballooned to 850 pages, which was too long to be realistic.

Parker explained that his team was urged to "cut it down, cut it down, cut it down," and instead use this extra content as DLC. This drew jeers from the crowd, Polygon reports.

"And I agree#133; f**k that," Parker said.

Though this extra content isn't likely to appear in The Stick of Truth, Parker said the material will see the light of day somehow, potentially through an episode of the show.

Parker and Stone also revealed during the panel that they were inspired by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Earthbound, Paper Mario, and The Legend of Zelda when originally setting out to make The Stick of Truth.

The Stick of Truth launches later this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more, check out .
