Nintendo is planning to announce a game called "Mario Maker" next week at E3, if an alleged leaked photo of Nintendo's E3 show floor is any indication.

The image (pictured below) is a bit blurry and could be completely fake, but the prospect of a Wii U Mario game that uses the GamePad to allow users to create custom 2D platforming levels sounds too amazing to not be real. Then again, Nintendo is infamous for defying expectations.

In the leaked image, you'll also notice displays for an Animal Crossing villager, Pikachu, and Kirby. Could that all just be Smash Bros.-related decor? Probably. Then again, it could have something to do with Nintendo's figurine platform. If you look closely, it looks like Pikachu is standing on a disc of sorts....

Taking place at the Royal Festival Hall, this event was attended by no less than 24 attendees willing to come on down and get their 3DS on for the day. StreetPass London co-founders Max Maslen and Tareq Ashry hosted a popular Mario Kart tournament, where top prizes were a Pikachu and Birdo plush, with runners up nabbing Moshi Monsters 3DS kits and Monster Hunter badges. In the end the Pikachu plushie went to a young attendee called Kieran, and Birdo to Suz (an old friend of the 3DSBlessed crew). Congratulations to all our winners!"
