Nintendo have announced that the retro-fitted Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Amiibo-Support update will be released world-wide on March 20th 2015. As with all Amiibo-compatible software, the game promises to add a unique gameplay to the mix, giving gamers an incentive to touch their Toad Amiibo to the Wii U GamePad. When a player touches a Toad Amiibo, a Pixel Toad appears and runs off into the level and hide, its up to the player to tray and find him. There will be one of these special hide and seek challenges in each level in the game. If a player uses any other Amiibo to the controller, they will receive 1-UP Mushrooms.
