Game of Thrones: The Lost Lords Review - Pixel Related

Added: 18.02.2015 3:10 | 9 views | 0 comments

With the first episode of Game of Thrones A Telltale Games Series, Telltale Games showed that they were able to handle the political intrigue that both the books and the television series have been able to handle well. However, the episode leaned heavily on the performances of the actors from the television series who appeared and (sadly) didnt develop the new characters as well as they could have. The second episode, The Lost Lords, thankfully recenters the series on the Telltale created characters and in doing so, hits its stride in a massive way.

Pixel Gate UK looks talks about owning the Vita from launch, and seeing where it is today: ''The Playstation Vita is honestly one of the most curious products Ive ever witness launch in the video game industry. After a decent marketing campaign, with various appearances across a number of events, the Vita launched. I purchased the system a day after its release, mostly as a New job treat. The Vita instantly impressed me. The sleek design, the beautiful screen and visuals, the nifty bits and bobs, I loved it all. It remains as the best hand-held, at least technically, Ive owned.''

Dont Feel Sorry For Peter Molynuex

Added: 16.02.2015 1:10 | 6 views | 0 comments

Pixel Gate UK looks at why Peter Molynuex deserves criticisms and why he is no longer worthy of defense: ''When Peter Molyneux said he no longer had a reputation in the video industry, I wasnt sure how to react. Part of me felt sorry for him, a fallen icon baring all to the internet. The cynical side of me disagreed with his claims, and wondered if it was all a front. I respect Peter Molyneux for his achievements, but a part of me cant help but think his downfall was his own doing.''

Added: 14.02.2015 10:10 | 4 views | 0 comments

EB: "Pip is set to make his debut on Steams Early Access sometime this March, with plans to release in full this May for the PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U platforms. Pricing will be modest at $15, which is well worth the joy and nostalgia this game can bring into your life. Older gamers with kids should also plan on snagging Adventures of Pip to show their burgeoning young gaming enthusiasts what games used to be like when the home console craze kicked off over 35 years ago. This game truly epitomizes the Indie movement, and its a testament to the passion these developers have to set off on their own and create the games that make them happy. Theres something to be said about marrying work with your passions, so TicToc Games has definitely embraced this life lesson and produced a piece of moving art because of it."

Pixel Heroes: Byte and Magic Review - Mouse n Joypad

Added: 14.02.2015 2:10 | 4 views | 0 comments

George writes - "Pixel Heroes: Byte and Magic, developed by The Bitfather, is a 2-D, side-scrolling, rogue-like, adventure game with witty dialogue and old-school, RPG elements. The game features 30 playable characters to unlock, a handful of achievements, and endless, class combinations giving the player countless amounts of replay value. All things to consider, the game is very well-made, and a joy to play, but its lack in story and gameplay loses excitement. The random encounter is what keeps the gameplay from being any less boring. Choices have consequences, random items determine the heroes stats, and strategic, turn-based battling system is why Pixel Heroes: Byte and Magic does a wonderful job at creating an 80s style game."
