A Bird Story Review | Analog Addiction

Added: 09.11.2014 7:11 | 5 views | 0 comments

Jamie Briggs, Analog Addiction: "A Bird Story is reminiscent of classic Pixar short films, avoiding dialogue and text to provide exposition. Instead it relies heavily on a visual experience in order to get an emotional reaction from the player. Players are not subjected to walls of text or long expositional cut scenes in order to follow the simple story, we are thrust into the world of an unnamed character and follow their story throughout an interactive section of their lives. Review: Pixel Paint - NLife

Added: 08.11.2014 23:11 | 2 views | 0 comments

NLife: "Lets face it: at some point, every gamer has been caught off guard by the alluring retro beauty of pixel art. Say what you will about its overuse in todays onslaught of independent games chances are you still love it. Theres something majestic about the way tens, hundreds, or thousands of tiny dots come together to form a piece of art, and Two Kernel Connection knows it. The studio's new application, Pixel Paint, claims to offer a simple solution to all of your pixel-producing problems using the Wii U GamePad. It largely succeeds in that endeavour thanks to a simple interface, a healthy number of useful tools, and a fantastic budget price point; this little application is a no-brainer for anyone interested in making some pixelated masterpieces."
