Destiny A Few Minor Changes, For The Greater Good

Added: 09.10.2014 4:12 | 2 views | 0 comments

Pixel Gate UK writes: ''With sometime passing after Destinys launch, after many hours put into the game across various planets, strikes and loot caves, it seems like its a good time to reflect. Destiny may have a number of issues, chief of which being a lack of matchmaking and varied content, its time to focus on the smaller issues. These issues arent exactly major, but would improve the game enough to be worthy of mentioning. Destiny plays, sounds, and looks fantastic, but these are few changes Id like to see just give the game that little extra quality.''

Pixel Rift Hands-On Preview | Power Up Gaming

Added: 08.10.2014 16:12 | 41 views | 0 comments

Adam Shepherd writes: "Pixel Rift is pretty damn amazing, for a number of reasons. Firstly, its creator, Ana Ribeiro, is a recent graduate of the National Film and Television School's game design MA course. She created the game virtually single-handed, drafting in friends and fellow students from the course to cover the areas that she couldn't complete herself. Even more impressively, she took on a project for the newest and arguably most challenging platform available, opting to build her game from the ground up as an Oculus experience."

Out at midnight: Pixel Boat Rush is a retro-looking powerboat racer with a twist for iPad and iPhone Pixel Boat Rush is a lot tougher than any game about pixel boat racing has any right to be. And the good news is it's just landed in New Zealand, which means it'll be hitting the UK App Store at midnight tonight. The game sees you piloting a retro powerboat over a decidedly lumpy sea. You've also got a gun, and a bunch of other competitors who want nothing more than sending you off to the bi...

Destiny The Lack of Matchmaking Is Inexcusable

Added: 07.10.2014 14:13 | 0 views | 0 comments

Pixel Gate UK writes: ''Theres nothing worse than seeing a well respected developer lower their standards and begin to produce poor, half finished, products. Its always easy to pick up on a half arsed effort in any form of media be it music, film or video games. Bungie were once known for producing quality video games, technically accomplished, well rounded, pure quality. Bungies fantastic run has been whole heartily brought to end with the release of Destiny, a true example of what happens when you pump big bucks into a game and rush it out to meet a pre-holiday release window.''
