A Quick Look at Scalebound

Mat @ AYMG: "When you hear either the name PlatinumGames or Hideki Kamiya, your first thought is probably action games. You wouldnt be wrong in thinking that either, with the pair producing the likes of Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101, not to mention everything else Platinum have worked on in their 9 year history. So when you hear that the next title from the dynamic duo is more of an RPG than an action game, its rather surprising."

Metro:
GameCentral talks to the creator of Bayonetta about his new Xbox One exclusive and the secret of Platinum Games success.
Hideki Kamiya, co-founder of Platinum Games, has a reputation for not suffering fools gladly, which was obviously a bit of a worry for me. But considering hes responsible for some of my favourite games ever there was no way I could pass up the chance to meet him at Gamescom last week, even if the interview was only supposed to last five minutes. I mustve got on okay though, as in the end it went on for over half an hour.

Its good business, too; Platinum has built such a strong portfolio in the last several years its become something of an action whisperer for publishers looking to reinvigorate their franchises."

AusGamers has an interview and preview feature with Platinum Games' Hideki Kamiya for Scalebound where they ask about character customisation and just how much you can use the dragon commands.
From the interview:

So there really is no limit; theres no restriction on how many times [you use Thuban] or you give the order to attack, but if you think about it naturally he is a living creature himself so if hes too aggressive then it means at some point hes going to wear down or if he gets too close for being too aggressive, he can gain more damage against himself, Kamiya explains of Thubans commands and usage. So its really about finding that right balance of okay, I want to use Thuban this much, but have him come back a bit so you can have that right balance and so you can go for the final attack.
In terms of customisation, the main cha...
