Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment (PlayStation 4) Review | Cubed3

Cubed: Sword Art Online was originally a series of light novels by Reki Kawahara and while it enjoyed some popularity in Japan, it wasn't until it received an anime adaptation that it exploded. There was massive success in the West, too, with it becoming one of those that will be remembered and cosplayed for a long time to come. Bandai Namco is smart when it comes to these sorts of series, quickly picking up the licences for its release in the West, knowing there is a fan-base willing to buy. Sadly, for the first release of this title in English, originally on Vita, the release came far too quick and the final product suffered with some of the worst translations since "All your base are belong to us." This latest version has a brand new translation, a few new features, and some upscaled graphics, but how does it survive the jump from handheld to big screen? Cubed3 finds out.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 (PlayStation 4) Review | Cubed3

Added: 04.09.2015 17:17 | 35 views | 0 comments

Cubed: One Piece is something of a cultural phenomenon - the current undisputed king of manga and anime in Japan, the series has been running since 1997 and has sold enough copies for creator Eiichiro Oda to receive a Guinness World Record for most printed comic series by one author. While there have been many videogame tie-ins released in Japan, not all have made it to the West. This latest incarnation of Omega Force's series of Kaizoku Musou or Pirate Warriors brings the series up to the most recent arc of the story in Japan and lets gamers play as some of the superb new characters. Can One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 capture the magic of the show, or will it be as disappointing as many of the other anime-based cash-ins?

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Review | TSA

Added: 04.09.2015 17:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

TSA: Omega Force, it seems, is one the busiest video game developers in Japan. When not beavering away at sequels and spin-offs, they can be found porting existing games to other platforms or working on entirely new projects altogether. Its a well oiled machine, fuelled by the enduring popularity of its Warriors franchise. What began as a fairly unknown 3D fighter from back in the days of the original PlayStation has branched into one of the industrys most widely known brands, attracting licenses such as Gundam, Dragon Quest, and of course, One Piece.

Why You Should Play Entwined

There are several reasons Joseph, at HSR, firmly supports PlayStation Plus and dont mind the £40 a year subscription in the slightest; one of these reasons being that we, PS+ Subscribers, are given over 40 titles a year (admittedly some you may already own and dont expect any newly released AAA titles) for the whole trio of PlayStation consoles. Every now and then a true gem of a game is handed to us from the Sony gods upon high.

DriveClub PS Plus bundle throws in full game Season Pass for £15.99

Added: 04.09.2015 15:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

If you've been thinking about picking up DriveClub you won't find a better deal than this. PlayStation Plus members can now pick up the full digital version of DriveClub along with the game's Season Pass for just £15.99 - £4 cheaper than the standalone cost of the Season Pass. Alternatively, if you don't fancy the DLC, DriveClub's PS Plus Edition Upgrade has also been reduced to £11.99, down from its usual £19.99 price. Both are great value, but for the sake of an extra £4 I'd definitely recommend grabbing the Season Pass bundle.
