IGN:Poker Night 2 provides a fairly standard poker game in the company of some fantastically written characters, but once the jokes start to repeat and youve unlocked everything you need theres not much reason to keep playing. A few cute unlockable cards and tables are nice touches, but ultimately the lack of more modes, multiplayer, or anything else to substantially mix things up doesnt give this game a lot of legs. Still, for the low ante it costs to pick it up, its worth it for the jokes.

GIZORAMA - Poker Night At The Inventory was released towards the end of 2010 by Telltale Games and featured the player playing no limit Texas Holdem poker with ten thousand dollar buy ins against Penny Arcades Tycho, Sam Maxs Sam, Team Fortress Heavy, and Homestar Runners Strong Bad. It came to fruition after the developers wondered what video game characters did in their off hours. Telltale decided to up the ante with a new set of curmudgeons in Poker Night 2 for XBLA, PSN, Steam, and iOS. Oddly enough the Steam version is priced at $5 while the console versions are at a $10 equivalent price tag. Poker Night 2 returns players to The Inventory, a speakeasy sort of place, with Captain Reginald Van Winslow from the Monkey Island series returning to hosting duties serving up Texas and Omaha Holdem Poker. The Venture Bros. Brock Samson, Sam Maxs Sam, Evil Deads Ash Williams, and Borderlands CL4P-TP fill out the cast of players for this go around and the Portals GLaDOS...
