Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power Review | GameSpew

Added: 28.08.2015 12:18 | 18 views | 0 comments

Samuel at GameSpew writes: "Beautiful environments, quirky characters and engaging narrative-driven platforming is what we have come to expect from Frozenbyte, the developers behind the original Trine, released in 2009. They lovingly crafted a sumptuous looking and fluid platformer that was widely appreciated by players and lauded by critics. Trine 2 built on this foundation, improving the visual fidelity and engrossing players in its tight narrative-driven levels and the charming personalities of its characters. The third and latest instalment in the series, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, unfortunately doesnt quite manage to clear the high bar set by its acclaimed predecessors."

Trivial Gamers Episode 3: Turtle Trouble

Added: 28.08.2015 3:18 | 38 views | 0 comments

Power Up Gaming: "Trivial Gamers is a hilarious new game show (we use the phrase game show very loosely around here) in which our host, Harry Bowers, gathers a group of fellow Power Up Gamers to tell funny stories about video games, which are either truthful or big fat lies. This time around, its JD that tells his fellow PUG mates a story about a dark time in his life. Abandoning all pretences of respect and morality, JD serves his own selfish desires by stealing a Pokémon from a child nearly ten years his junior."

(WGB) Trine 3: Artifacts of Power Review Trine Too Hard (Im Sorry)

Added: 27.08.2015 10:18 | 9 views | 0 comments

Baden of WGB: "Trine has returned for its third outing, so with two titles already under its belt what innovation has developer Frozenbyte opted to bring to the table? Well, for the first time since the series inception Trine is now in full 3D. One would imagine that such a change would completely alter how the game plays, and yet its effects are surprisingly light. There might be an added dimension, but it doesnt feel like theres been a new dimension added to the gameplay. Trine 3 is the most beautiful game in the franchise to date, only boosted by the 3D allowing for impressive vistas, and yet its also less impressive than its predacessor."

Metro: The popular action puzzler moves into 3D, with incredible graphics and some great co-op options but at what cost? Trine 3 was only released on Thursday and already its in deep trouble. Word of mouth travels quickly on Steam and fans eagerly awaiting the new game were dismayed to find out that it was not only extremely short but ended on an unsatisfying cliffhanger.
